| Our engineered hardwood flooring is one of the strongest, most stable wooden floors on the market making it suitable for use with under floor heating, or in areas of high changes of temperature or humidity such as conservatories and south facing sun rooms.
We offer a range of species from carefully selected sources around the world including oak, walnut and several tropical hardwoods. We can now offer you engineered oak flooring starting at 15mm thickness or 21mm thickness in European Character grade oak in an extremely versatile width of 189mm, available in packs of mainly 2.2 metre long boards. Edges of the floorboards are microbevelled and all knots are pre filled leaving you the choice of top coat sealant finish to apply. We recommend the use of Hardwax Oil which we can also supply which enhances the oak beautifully yet retains a natural but very hardwearing finish. Our premium Engineered Range is available in 2 thicknesses, 21mm and 26mm etc. Engineered flooring can be bonded directly onto a concrete or wooden sub floor using our specially formulated 2265 adhesive, floated, or secret nailed onto floor joists, battens or existing wooden floor.
